How to Join

We pride ourselves for being the friendliest and one of the nicest, most serene harbors on the bay….
The Marin Yacht Club welcomes and encourages new members, a key to any club's success and future! Our process for membership is designed to ensure that potential members learn about our club and our enriched environment.  If new to the area and/or yacht club life, if membership assistance is needed, our membership committee is available to guide you every step of the way.  Boat Ownership is not required.

Interested in Joining ? 

1. Contact our Membership Committee Chair and let them know of your interest. Or call the Club Office to connect you to the Membership Committee. A tour of the club's facilities will be arranged and membership explained.  If you know someone who is already a member, and they plan to sponsor you, have them join you on the tour.

2. After your tour and wish to become a member, complete a Membership Application and your Sponsor completes a Sponsorship Form.  Please contact the Membership Chair for further information on membership process and assistance for sponsorship.
 
Please note if you wish to berth a boat in the Marin Yacht Club harbor, you must first become a member. Once a member, boat owners are eligible to purchase berthrights or rent berths.  No live-aboards or long term overnights are allowed in the MYC harbor.
